How far out do I need to book my wedding?
Wedding planning can be equal parts excitement and frustration when you miss out on booking the vendors that you truly wanted for your day. For this reason, I highly suggest securing your date as soon as you know that we are a good fit. I limit the number of weddings I take on each year so that I can be fully present for you and give you the very best experience possible. Typically I book 1-2 years in advance, and popular dates go quickly.

ENGAGEMENT

I don't "need" an engagement session, can we take it out to make the package cheaper?
Short answer, no. The complimentary engagement session serves a few purposes, some entirely selfish on my part. I love to get to know my couples outside of the wedding day, and the session is the perfect opportunity . These sessions also help you to be prepared for the big day and know what to expect from me and my camera. I'm a tad unconventional in my approach and I want to you super comfortable and camera ready. This is especially beneficial for camera shy or "awkward" couples. Should you really decide that an engagement session isn't for you, the price of the Collection does not change.

Can we choose our location(s)?
I strive to make these sessions super personal, so locations that are sentimental and mean something to you are welcome. If you want something more rustic and pretty, I have tons of locations that work well with my aesthetic and I know work well for couples. We can always do a mix of both as well.

Can we bring our pets for the Engagement session?
I'd be upset if you didn't. Dogs, cats, elephants, kangaroos, whatever.

Can we bring our children for the Engagement session?
You bet! Your children are a huge part of your lives, so it makes sense you  would want to include them. Because this session is intended to be calm, relaxing and all about you, I recommend starting with some poses with the kids and then have someone take them so we can refocus on you and you as a couple.

What is an Adventure Session?
I actually don't belong here in Regina, I have always felt somewhat transplanted from the mountains or the sea. I blame my Caribbean dad for that wanderlust. Anyhoo...An Adventure Session is perfect for those couples who want an adventure, or a truly Pinterest worthy styled session to set yourselves apart. Head to the mountains, Big Muddy, Sand Dunes or even BC, and I will come and create the most magical images for you. Love the idea but don't have anything specific in mind? I've got you. All we need is a little phone conversation and a whole lotta inspiration.

WEDDING

We are having a destination wedding, do you travel?
HECK YES I DO! I do my best work during travel and I love to go on adventures with my couples. I have photographed several couples in Mexico (Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias), Los Angeles, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Fernie BC and in the Rocky Mountains.

How long after my wedding will I receive my photos?
Once the cake is cut, booze is consumed and your guests have gone home, I get to work curating and editing the best storytelling images of your day. This can take a significant amount of time depending on the flow of your day and number of hours I covered for you. I strive to have your gallery in 4-6 weeks. Keepsake boxes and albums are created during my slower months, January through March, I keep you updated throughout the process, and of course, sneak peeks are shared on my social media platforms so you can show off your day!

How many photos will I receive?
I am a quality over quantity kinda gal. In the end, you will have your absolute favourite images. Getting into your dress, the first kiss, aisle shot, the daddy/daughter dance...it's a very full day. I don't waste your time with duplicates or poor expressions, and make sure that the images I give you best depict how the day unfolded. Typically a partial day wedding will yield 300-400 and a full day approximately 500-700, edited beautifully, of course.

Will you help me with my wedding timeline?
Since I have photographed and/or planned 250+ weddings, I think that I do have the qualifications needed to put together a kick butt day with you and your guests in mind. The calmer my couple, the better the day, so I help with that as much as I can.

Do you photograph LGBTQ+ couples?
I photograph people in love. It's that simple. Everyone is welcome and worthy of an amazing wedding/engagement experience.

What is the "Keepsake Box"?
In Collection II, the Keepsake Box is a special little treat which changes every year and are created with so much love. The box includes your edited images on USB, my favourite images printed as 4x6 proofs and some other special treats chosen just for you.

What forms of payment do you accept? And are payment plans available?
I take credit cards, e-transfers, cash or cheque for your session. Payment plans can easily be set up to make your session fees more manageable. Just ask and you shall receive!

Can I add an album later down the road?
Yes of course. The Luxury Albums are truly divine. Leather, velvet, linen or even wood covers are available to protect 50-100 of your favourite wedding images laid out in a clean and classic minimal styling. These books are custom designed and made by hand. I'm obsessed with them. If you book Collection III, the album is included at a special discounted rate.
